Association for Arakawa International Communcations

The Association for Arakawa International Communications (AIC) was established on October 21th,1993. AIC works in a variety of ways in cooperation with the Arakawa City Office, with the aim of creating a local area where all people, including foreign residents, can enjoy their lives in order to realize an even more vitalized local society. AIC holds various events in the form of cross cultural exchange projects such as hiking trips by bus, Japanese class and Japanese Salon,a Japanese speech contest and the planning and handling of events with Jeju Special Self-Governing Province,Zhongshan District, Dalian.And Arakawa Ciry and the Donaustadt district have been mutually accepting and sending high school students for home stays.

Non-native Japanese speakers who live,work or study in Arakawa City and whose Japanese language ability is at the elementary level (Excepting students of Japanese language school)
